We collect information from you when you visit our site.  We take seriously our responsibility to protect the privacy of our customers' information.  This policy states the nature, purpose, use and sharing of any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) collected via this website.  Our privacy policy explains our information practices when you provide PII to us when you browse, obtain information, or request a contact from one of our staff.  PII may include: your name, email, mailing address, phone numbers, or other information that identifies you personally.  We do not require you to register or provide personal information to visit our website.  By using our site, you consent to our website's privacy policy.

Personally Identifiable Information

Generally, DCI does not collect PII about you when you visit our website, unless you choose to provide such information to us.  Submitting PII through our website is voluntary.  By doing so, you are giving DCI permission to use the information for the stated purpose.  However, not providing certain information may result in DCI's inability to provide you with the service you desire.

If you choose to provide us with PII on a DCI website, through such methods as completing a web form or sending us an email, we will use that information to help us provide you the information or service you have requested or respond to your message.  The information we may receive from you varies based on what you click on when visiting our site.

Email

The DCI hosted site(s) allow you to send us an email.  We will use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry.  We will only send you general information via email.  You should be reminded that email may not necessarily be secure against interception.  Therefore, we suggest that you do not send specific non-public business data to us via email.   If your intended email communication is sensitive, please begin a general, non-sensitive inquiry that will allow us to contact you in a more secure manner.

Automatically Collected Information

We collect and temporarily store certain information about your visit for use in site management and security purposes.  We collect and analyze this information because it helps us to better design our website to suit your needs.  We may also automatically collect information about the web content you view in the event of a known security or virus threat.  This information includes:

  2. The Internet Protocol (IP) address (a unique number for each computer connected to the Internet) from which you access our website;
  3. The type of browser used to access our site;

We may share the above information with our employees or representatives with a "need-to-know" in the performance of their job duties as needed to quickly process your request or transaction.  This information is only used to help us make our site more useful to you.  Raw data logs are retained as required for security and site management purposes only. 

Third-Party Websites and Applications

DCI uses social media websites and other kinds of third-party websites.  We use social media websites to interact and engage with customers and prospects alike.  Social media websites are used to publicize DCI events and engage with the public.  DCI also uses web measurement and customization technologies to measure the number of visitors to our websites and their various sections to help make our websites more useful to visitors.  In such cases, the third-party application may request an email address, username, password, or geographic locations (e.g., State, region, or ZIP code) for account registration purposes. 

We do not sell, trade or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information.  This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.  We may also release your information when we believe the release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours and others' rights, property and safety.  However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

You have the right to opt out by utilizing the cookie preferences, and you have the right to request a deletion of your information, so long as it is understood, in order not to be contacted, your information is moved to another holding area within the system so as to comply with your request to not be contacted.  You have the right to opt-out of targeted advertising.  We do not sell your personal information.

You have the right to request access to your personal information that we may have stored. 

You have the right to request correction(s) to your personal information we may have stored.

DCI does not discriminate against any person(s) or entity(ies) who choose to opt out of cookie data collection. 

You may request restriction in the processing of your personal data.  You may ask us to suspend processing if:

  • You need to confirm accuracy of the data
  • Where use of the data is unlawful, but you do not want us to erase it
  • Where there is a request to hold the data even if we no longer require it should you need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims
  • You have objected to our use of your data, but we need to verify whether we have overriding legitimate grounds to use it

You may request the transfer of your personal data to you or a third party.  We will provide to you, or a third party you have chosen, your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable or human readable format. 

You may withdraw your consent at any time; however, it will not affect any processing completed prior to your withdrawal of consent.  If you do withdraw consent, we may not be able to provide certain products or services to you. 

We may need specific information from you to comply with your request to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access this data or any other right.  This is to ensure personal data is not disclosed to an unauthorized person or persons.  We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up our response.

Information Collected for Tracking and Customization (Cookies)

Security

DCI takes the security of all PII very seriously.  We take precautions to maintain the security, confidentiality, and integrity of the information we collect at our site(s).  Such measures include access controls designed to limit access to the information to the extent necessary to accomplish our mission.  We also employ various security technologies to protect the information stored on our systems.  We routinely test our security measures to ensure that they remain operational and effective.

We take the following steps to secure the information we collect:

  • Employ internal access controls to ensure that the only personnel who have access to your information are those with a need to do so to perform their official duties.
  • Train appropriate personnel on our privacy and security policies and compliance requirements.
  • Secure the areas where we retain paper copies of the information we collect online.

In the case of a data breach, it is determined that any potential customer information was compromised, the appropriate regulatory institution would be notified, and all DCI customers (banks) that might be affected would be contacted.  As appropriate, a final communication with both external regulatory agencies and/or customers may be necessary.  Final communication can include but is not limited to:

  • Any final documentation of the event
  • Any final statement released to the general media

We hold our contractors and other third-party providers to the same high standards that we use to ensure security, confidentiality, and integrity of personal information they may have access to in the course of their work completed on behalf of DCI.

Interaction With Children Online

DCI is committed to the protection of children's online privacy.  The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) governs information gathered online from or about children under the age of 13.  Verifiable consent from a child's parent or guardian is required before collecting, using, or disclosing personal information from a child under age 13.  The DCI website(s) do not intend to collect information about children under 13 years old.

Visiting Other Websites

Some of our website content may contain links to third parties who are servicing DCI events.  These websites are not within our control and may not follow the same privacy, security, or accessibility policies.  Once you link to another site, you are subject to the policies of that site.
