OFAC has many bankers seeing red. Red tape, that is. For many, OFAC comparison and compliance involves complicated, time-consuming manual processes, exorbitant software and service fees, and endless hours trying to be sure that the most current information is being used. For DCI customers, however, managing OFAC red tape will soon be a piece of cake, thanks to a new automated OFAC screening and reporting system developed by DCI, in association with a nationally approved information database provider. This application, now in testing, automatically screens your bank’s entire Customer Information File (iCore users) or Account Information File (mainframe users) against the most current OFAC information, and generates a report of any suspects.
In addition, the application automatically screens new accounts on a daily basis and reports any suspects the next day. The DCI OFAC screening and reporting application is designed to be affordable, yet completely secure and comprehensive enough to help ensure you avoid the possibility of OFAC sanctions and fines. The DCI application not only meets all OFAC compliance requirements for identifying embargoed or sanctioned entities—specially designated nationals (SDNs), specially designated terrorists (SDTs) and specially designated narcotics traffickers (SDNTs)—but it is also compliant with the U.S Patriot Act and Worldwide Watch List, and includes information from the CIA, foreign language dictionaries and translators, world atlases and other reference materials to give you additional security and peace of mind. And by keeping the application streamlined, DCI is able to keep your cost down to only
$.02 cents per CIF (iCore) or AIF (mainframe) record. To find out more about the DCI OFAC screening and reporting option and how to enroll, contact your Customer Relationship Manager or (620)
