DCI acquires advanced technology solutions company

April 2, 1998--Data Center Inc. (DCI) recently announced the acquisition of Inacom Information Systems of Oklahoma City, OK.

Inacom is a leading provider of advanced communication products and services. They have served as a technology partner to more than 1,800 companies in Oklahoma throughout the past 13 years. With particular focus on banking, telecommunications and healthcare industries, Inacom provides complete information management solutions.

ollowing the purchase, Inacom announced they have changed the name of the company to ENTEQ Solutions. The company will be managed as a subsidiary of DCI.

The acquisition will expand DCI’s current technology department, increasing the level and range of services they can offer existing and new customers. ENTEQ will provide consultative design for data, voice and video platforms, system installation and maintenance services, technology audits, Year 2000 assessments, preventative network management and support, educational services, hardware repair, software support, Web development and internet access for local and wide area networks. ENTEQ is an authorized Novell Platinum Partner and a Microsoft Solutions Provider. In addition, ENTEQ is a reseller of IBM, Compaq, Hewlett Packard, 3Com and Cisco products.
