DCI Brings Aboard New—Yet Seasoned and Sharp—Executives

DCI recently announced the addition of three new executives to its bank technology facilities in Hutchinson, Kansas and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma: John Jones (Executive Vice President, Operations); Robert Ross (Vice President, Network Services); and Wendy Dowling (Vice President, Customer Support).

DCI President and CEO A.J. Krail says, "I’m very excited to have these people on board. I’ve had the pleasure of working with each of these individuals on previous projects, and they are all true, seasoned professionals in their areas of expertise. They are a perfect fit for our customers’ needs, and they bring a tremendous level of knowledge and talent to our company."

John Jones heads up DCI’s Operations functions, including all of the company’s main processing and imaging centers, backroom services, and the DCI technology subsidiary, ENTEQ Solutions. Mr. Jones’ impressive background includes experience as Vice President of Operations for the banking services division of EDS; Director of Resource Management and Outsourcing for an international firm providing software and services to the public sector; and as CIO of a major technology company located in central Florida. He also has vast experience managing numerous financial data centers across the United States. About DCI, John says, "I was familiar with DCI and its solid reputation in the banking industry, but what really impressed me most was the way the DCI staff works together and does whatever it takes for their customers. It’s not often that you find a company that displays that level of commitment and teamwork."

Robert Ross takes senior management responsibility, including the sales and delivery of DCI’s advanced communications products and services,  at the ENTEQ Solutions subsidiary. Mr. Ross’s background includes experience as the Senior Manager of Professional Services for a publicly traded, AS/400 Solutions firm based in Florida; Director of Network Sales and Support for an international computer services firm; and as Vice-President of Systems Operations for ANACOMP, a Banking Software firm in Southern Florida. Robert says, "DCI is an exciting opportunity, because they focus on developing and delivering to their customers the best technology available. DCI is showing they are a very forward-thinking organization with advancements like their true client/server technology and their [DCI 1Net™] communications product, which is a truly state-of-the-art and completely integrated solution for voice, data and Internet services."

Wendy Dowling, the company’s most recent addition, joins DCI as Vice President of Customer Service, assuming responsibility for the Implementation, Education and Documentation Departments, while Sarah Fankhauser, Vice President of Customer Support, maintains responsibilities for Customer Support and Call Center Operations. Ms. Dowling’s customer service background includes experience as Senior Manager of Training and Education for HTE; Vice President of Education for the MISER2™ Banking System; and as MIS Director for a major financial institution in Mississippi. Wendy also shares Mr. Jones’ and Mr. Ross’ excitement about joining the DCI team, saying, "This is a terrific company with tremendous potential and a lot to be proud of. It’s exciting to be a part of a company with such a customer-focused philosophy and mission."
