Check out the new Document Image Library
Whatever most bankers considered as system report management and storage yesterday has been redefined by DCI today. With the release of the innovative new Report Library, DCI unveils a complete reinvention of system report management, viewing, and archival for both mainframe and iCore users. Designed to replace outdated typical archival COLD systems and microfiche, the new Report Library is more than just an archival utility; it is next-generation report management unlike anything you’ve seen before. The Report Library is part of a new, more integrated approach to information management by DCI. This approach—using a main Library entrance into smaller, more focused libraries of specific content—is designed to simplify the access, management, and storage of key information sources like reports, documents, and images. The Report Library is the first of these more focused libraries. Other focused libraries are added in new releases for content applications like document imaging, and others.
A Whole New Breed The new Report Library is remarkably point-and-click user friendly. For mainframe users, installation is a breeze. And with a couple of clicks, users access the Report Library through a main DCI Library icon on the Windows desktop. For iCore users, the Report Library is fully integrated into the system under a main Library entrance on the iCore system menu. That means you never have to leave the iCore screen to access and manage your system reports. Any banker currently using microfiche or ReportTrac will immediately see the advantages of moving to the Report Library. Not only is the Library extraordinarily faster and easier to use, but it is also less expensive, and is simultaneously accessible and manageable by any authorized network user at the bank—not just a single fiche reader or workstation. And in the unlikely event of system downtime, the Report Library backup CDs can be used with full functionality in any Windows-compatible computer with a CD drive—no network connection required. The Report Library also delivers powerfully automated and intuitive capabilities for indexing, viewing, searching, printing, backup and security. For example, one of the best features of the Report Library is its automation and customization capabilities. Using a basic set of parameters—which can be customized for each bank—the Report Library automatically defines and indexes all reports, with no user involvement required. It continuously monitors the system to automatically add new reports as they are generated, assigns definitions to each one, indexes them by processing date, application and definition, and automatically displays the most recent set of reports whenever the Report Library is opened. All without you having to do anything. Easy to Use Backup on the Report Library is a snap. Simply choose a couple of settings, launch the permanent storage application, and burn your reports to CD. Once your reports are stored to CD, your backup CDs are fully operational—including the Report Library offline viewer—in any computer CD drive, with no network or Report Library connection required. Reasons to Switch This is a deal you can’t afford to pass up. The Report Library is next generation technology available only from DCI. It’s less expensive, easier to use, more capable and more reliable than any other solution. Don’t wait to take your system report management to the next level. Implementation dates are limited and reserved on a first-come basis. For more information, a demonstration, or to reserve your implementation date, call DCI at (620) 694-6800 today. About DCI |
