DCI Customers Create Successful 2006 Conference
- Attendees gather for informational discussions, product demonstrations -

HUTCHINSON , KAN. , Oct. 3, 2006 – DCI, a provider of full-service bank technology and processing solutions to the financial industry, hosted more than 200 clients, vendor partners and potential prospects last month in Copper Mountain , Colorado for the company’s 2006 annual conference.

DCI customers were the honored attendees as well as featured speakers for educational workshops addressing areas such as electronic bank exams, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) compliance, profitability, IT management and branch capture technologies. Many customers also participated in demonstrations and hands-on training classes for products and solutions including iCore, BSA Navigator and DCI Teller among others.

“Because of the company’s unique ownership, DCI’s annual conference serves as an open forum for industry discussions and specific product feedback, advice and enhancement – a major reason we chose DCI as our core processor,” said Thomas Ellison, chairman and president of Commercial Bank of Texas and DCI customer since 2004. “The annual conference has a significant influence on the direction of DCI development. It is a vital component of DCI’s successful business model, which directly applies customer response into its technology offerings.”

Conference workshops also provided instruction on how to maximize the functionality and profitability of products such as iCore, InfoSight, BSA Navigator and customer relationship management tools. Other workshops and panel discussions addressed industry trends such as Federal Reserve directions on Check 21, multi-factor authentication, The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) changes in IT security, effective interpersonal communication, video surveillance and managing IT as a bottom line value-add for the bank.

“Our greatest accomplishments and product enhancements are derived from the active participation and dialogue with our customers,” said John Jones, president and CEO of DCI.  “The ongoing user meetings and annual conference offer an excellent environment for that direct interaction. The conference also provides an atmosphere where customers, prospects and business partners can lean more about DCI, as well as industry trends and ideas to make their institution more successful.”

The conference opened on Sunday, Sept. 17, and closed on Tuesday, Sept. 19, with an opening speech from keynote speaker, Eric Alexander, a word renowned skier, climber and mountaineer.

The 2007 DCI conference will be held in Kansas City , Missouri .
