Regulatory Changes, Customer Requests Sculpt iCore 10.0 Release

HUTCHINSON , KAN., July 10, 2006 – DCI, a provider of full-service bank technology and processing solutions to the financial industry, officially unveiled the 10.0 release of iCore®, the company’s integrated core processing and bank management system.

Like all major updates to the iCore product, the latest semi-annual release contains several significant enhancements based on direct input from bank users, including the addition of secure Internet access to home equity statements from the iCore Inter@ct: Statements feature. Banks using iCore 10.0 in conjunction with DCI’s InstaKey® ATM/debit card services can now also provide bank customers with ATM access to advances on home equity lines of credit (HELOC) for more convenient account access and control.

“iCore 10.0 achieves a new level of compliance and competitive advantage in direct response to bank needs and a rapidly changing marketplace,” said John Jones, president and CEO for DCI. “This release also continues our 43-year tradition of tailoring products to maximize benefits and efficiencies based on the collective involvement of users and the expertise of our engineers.”

For example, as a result of customer input, iCore 10.0 users can now add individual notes and comments to electronic reports online, eliminating the need to create new reports or store paper versions. iCore’s new ATM/debit card voice response system enables customers to activate cards, change PINs, or report losses via telephone for greater convenience, while reducing demand on internal resources at the bank. iCore 10.0 also expands overdraft privilege capabilities that support greater flexibility and profitability. For example, banks can create and adjust up to six tiers of overdraft privilege limit amounts on individual customer accounts.

“DCI prides itself on developing quality products and services that reflect our commitment to maintaining supportive customer relationships,” said Mel MacKay, vice president of Application Development for DCI. “Our collaborative development process directly impacts our customers’ success and keeps them up-to-date with technological and legislative changes. iCore 10.0 continues to extend the  flexibility and customer-focused capability banks need to provide more competitive, profitable services.”

Other enhancements include ACH capabilities that eliminate the need for DOS Fedline applications, simplify stop payments based on company identification and displays stop payment suspects and images online, saving time and improving customer services.
