September 1, 1997-- DCI will hold its annual conference, Outlook ‘97, on October 5 through 7 in Hutchinson, KS. Speakers at this years conference include Carl Faulkner, managing director of technology service with M One Inc. of Phoenix, AZ and Art Gillis, independent consultant from New Orleans, LA. Gillis will speak during the opening session of the conference on technology in the banking industry. On Tuesday morning, Carl Faulkner will discuss the principles of client/server technology.

Other topics included in the conference, include: how to prepare for a document imaging system, intranet technology, issues involved in establishing a call center, eliminating the barriers to high performance, marketing ideas for debit cards, roundtable discussions on DCI applications and much more.

Last year, 158 bankers from 81 financial institutions attended the three-day event.
