For Immediate Release
July 25, 1997-- DCI announced today the signing of two new banks to their item imaging and client/server processing system.
Community Financial Inc., a multi-bank holding company in Denver, CO, has signed an agreement with DCI to handle item imaging and backroom services for their four Colorado banks. With the recent addition of front-end, power proof equipment to their Denver facility, DCI will image more than 1-1/2 million items a month for the four-bank group.
Banks involved in the agreement include: Bank of Cherry Creek, Denver, CO; Western National Bank of Colorado, Colorado Springs, CO; Mesa National Bank in Grand Junction, Grand Junction, CO; and First National Bank of Boulder County, Boulder, CO.
Security State Bank in Wewoka, OK also signed an agreement with DCI and will convert to their new client/server processing system and imaging services in November of this year.
Security State Bank will join DCI as their first client/server bank signed since the purchase of the new system this year. The bank will utilize the client/server system in an outsourcing arrangement, with DCI providing software management through their remote facility in Oklahoma City.
"With this bank up and running in an outsourcing arrangement, new possibilities will open in the client/server arena," states Meigs Miller, senior vice president of sales and marketing with DCI. "Banks are already beginning to see the alternatives they have with client/server technology and the benefits it can bring to their bank."
DCI is a leading provider of mainframe and client/server processing services to more than 200 banks nationwide. As a full-service processor, DCI provides item and image processing, backroom services, ATM and debit card programs, disaster recovery services, remote banking solutions and PC/LAN sales, installation and support.
