For Immediate Release…

KANSAS CITY, MOHUTCHINSON, KS (May 7, 1998)— DCI, a long-standing data processing and technology service provider to community banks, announced today that it has signed an exclusive marketing agreement with Georgia-based nFront, Inc., a leading provider of full-service Internet banking solutions for community banks and winner of Microsoft’s Best Internet Banking Solution Award. As part of the agreement, DCI will begin offering secure, full-service Internet banking to its 200 200 community bank clients using nHome, nFront’s proven, ‘fat server’ Internet banking solution. nHome is currently in use at 1716 community banks across the country, and is licensed to another 2927 financial institutions, which are in various stages of development and implementation.

"DCI is committed to providing its client banks with superior products and the highest level of service, which is why we have chosen nHome as our exclusive Internet banking solution," said A.J. Krail, president and CEO of DCI. "nHome offers community banks all the functionality commonly reserved for the country’s largest financial institutions, without the prohibitive price. And because nHome provides intuitive customer and administrative interfaces, no technical expertise or additional personnel is required of the bank to operate a full-service branch on the world wide web."

"We have seen a tremendous amount of interest from community banks across the nation," explained Tripp Rackley, president and CEO of nFront. "In fact, nFront currently has licensed its solution to 4643 banks throughout the country, from as far west as Montana, east to New Jersey, and south to Louisiana. The agreement with DCI is significant because it further extends the reach of our marketing channel and allows DCI client banks to begin offering full-service Internet banking quickly and affordably."

nHome, a Microsoft NT-based application, enables banking customers to open new accounts, apply for loans, view account balances and histories, pay bills, transfer funds, customize reports, and download active statements into personal financial management packages at any time, from any location, using any browser-enabled device such as personal computers and televisions.

From the bank’s perspective, nHome allows the bank to expand its reach to a broader market, primarily composed of the most profitable banking customers, while taking advantage of the least expensive delivery channel available today. Because customers are afforded greater access to and control over their account information, the bank’s customer service overhead can ultimately be reduced. And, through the collection of data captured on-line, the bank can target specific customers for more efficient and effective cross-selling and marketing campaigns.
