Pennsylvania Bank
Partners with DCI HUTCHINSON, Kan., Aug. 29, 2007 –
DCI, a provider of full-service bank technology and processing solutions to
the financial industry, announced that Coatesville, Pa.–based Coatesville
Savings Bank ($240 million in assets) has contracted with DCI to implement
the iCore integrated bank management and
processing system, which is designed to meet bankers’ needs for a complete
core processor, along with a host of other DCI products. Before deciding to convert to iCore, the
existing core processing system plagued Coatesville Savings Bank with
inefficiencies and irritating its employees. The bank could not properly
serve its customers or focus on growth due, in large part, to interface
problems with its existing system. This led to the repetition of
inconvenient and menial tasks, employee frustration and a reduced ability to
address customer’s needs. “After due diligence, the bank purchased
DCI’s iCore, because of its flexibility both in design and operation,”
said James Ziegler, president of Coatesville Savings Bank. “We know that
DCI’s technology will easily grow with our bank. The ability to expand our
technological capabilities means our customers will continually benefit from
new products and improved service, while our employees benefit from an
efficient system with which they feel comfortable.” The implementation of iCore and automated
features enables the bank to handle all core functions in a fully integrated
technology package. iCore provides Coatesville Savings Bank with control
over all customer information, so it can instantly create new bank products
and continually customize the system. Flexible design and unique
development methodology that involves users in product enhancements
positions the bank for ongoing growth. “DCI outperformed the competition
with respect to performance, product and price,” said Ziegler. “DCI prides itself on providing a core
processing solution that not only streamlines the management functions of
the bank, but also helps each bank work, compete and grow on their own terms
and according to their unique needs,” said John Jones, president and CEO
of DCI. “We look forward to the same long-term, supportive relationship
with Coatesville Savings Bank as we share with all our customers.”
