Multi-Factor Authentication to Present DCI Case Study at the RSA Conference 2007
IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Multi-Factor Authentication, Inc. (MFA), a provider of cost effective and secure end-user authentication solutions for online transactions, announced today their selection as a presenter at the prestigious RSA Security Conference, February 5-9, at Moscone Center in San Francisco. MFA will be discussing the technology behind SecureAuth, their flagship product for secure online user authentication and its development and integration for Hutchinson, Kan.-based Data Center Inc. (DCI), a provider of full-service bank technology and processing solutions to the financial industry. DCI partnered with MFA to provide additional, multi-factor security capabilities for DCI’s flagship iCore® bank processing and management application. Specifically, DCI first applied the SecureAuth technology to iCore’s Inter@ct:™ options, which provide bank customers with secure online delivery of bank statements, check images, and check fraud prevention. “The integration of SecureAuth with the iCore Inter@ct suite provides DCI’s customers with additional protection against phishing and man in the middle replay attacks against their sensitive financial data,” said Craig Lund, CEO, MFA. “The combined solutions provide the ultimate user experience of security, ease of use, and productivity.” In addition to DCI’s iCore®, the SecureAuth patent-pending technology provides tokenless, out-of-the-box security integration for other high-value, highly-sensitive applications requiring secure validation of user identities, including e-commerce, SharePoint, Microsoft Outlook Web Access .NET Forms Authentication, and authentication of web services. “DCI is enthusiastic about our partnership with MFA to provide additional multi-factor security for our iCore applications,” said John Jones, President and CEO of DCI. “The MFA people and SecureAuth technology are outstanding, and give DCI and iCore a distinct advantage in the bank technology industry.” MFA is appearing at the RSA Conference as part of the Innovation Station panel, being judged by senior technology writers, editors and influencers from such high-profile media sources as Time Magazine. MFA will also host a kiosk at the OATH Pavilion at the conference. ------------------------------------------------- About DCI Founded by bankers in 1963, Hutchison, Kan.-based DCI is a privately-held provider of full-service bank technology and processing solutions to the financial industry, nationwide.
